I love the summer, but I've never seen snow... that's sad! Here in Florianópolis is cold in the winter as well, but cold for us is 12ºC ...hahah, a little different

Hi, I'm Juliana from Brazil Wed Jan 30, 2008 22:32 pm  Hi, I'm Juliana from Brazil

In some places there is practically no winter here, in the Northeast for example, it's 30º in July (winter here!). But not everybody here likes Samba, Carnival and Football here...there are other things about Brazil. The music is great! What about Poland, what's it like?

Hi, I'm Juliana from Brazil Fri Feb 08, 2008 23:15 pm  Hi, I'm Juliana from Brazil

Well... We're considered drunks, thieves, and... hard workers. How much of that is true is for others to judge. However, there are opinions, for example in Greece, that if you're a Pole you can do (meaning: achieve) everything.
We massively flee to UK and Ireland (mainly, but France, Italy and Germany as well) in order to find a crappy job for a good pay and we very often succeed.
If there's anything Polish people could be proud of - that's our food! However, unfortunately, because of the stupid EU regulations, we have to adjust to some "norms", which means - either export less (only the "approved" products) or have our products genetically modified. Either way - we lose.
We're big sports fans, especially football (for you Aussies and Americans - soccer), but we tend to be proud whenever our national temas in other sports are successfull - especially when it comes to volleyball and ski jumping.

That's the most random things that come to my mind right now Smile If you want to know more, like something in particular, feel free to ask! Smile
