Restatement questions: The African monkeys are usually larger than their South... #1 (permalink) Sun Jan 13, 2008 9:57 am   Restatement questions: The African monkeys are usually larger than their South...

Hello

I'm a new user in this forum
I'm sorry because i cannot speak english very well, but I hope to learn from you and with you the English language.

I want your help. in out country we have a test in the english
about 1/4 the test is to restate senteces.

so, i want your help.
if anyone have questions like it to put it in this thread, or if anyone know a site that i can find Restatement question to write the link of the site.
Or if anyone "strong" in the english language and he want to help me, please to write to me some questions to practice on it.

the questions such as:

The African monkeys are usually larger than their South American relatives, but they are not as smart.

1) South American monkeys are neither larger nor smarter than African monkeys.
2) African monkeys are large, but they are not smart, while South African monkeys are large and very intelligent.
3) African monkeys are always bigger and less smart than South American monkeys
4) Most of the South American monkeys are smaller than the African ones, which tend to be less intelligent than them

the correct answer is 4.

I hope that i you help me :(

thanks alot

and I'm sorry for my weak English language

Hi Mahmood,

Yes your answer is correct. If you tell me what your test is called I might find more "restatement questions" for you to practice.

Thanks,
Torsten
