What are the advantages of taking the TOEIC? Mon Jan 14, 2008 9:20 am  What are the advantages of taking the TOEIC?

Hi everyone!

I`m teaching business English in a software company and I've been asked to train staff members for an international exam. I've been carrying out a reseach and I found the most suitable exams for the company could be TOEIC or BEC examinations but I can't make up my mind. I know that TOEIC exam has no passing or failing scores so it meassures the command of the language. What are the advantages of taking this kind of exam? Which of them is most widly recognised? Any suggestions?

Thanks!
