Verbs, how I don't love thee!

Hi everybody!

I'm new on this forum, not new to the English language thankfully, although I learned the language as an adult. This probably explains, at least in part, why verbs are still my biggest enemies. I sent an email yesterday and I still wonder whether:

"I hope you'll feel better soon" is correct (this is what I wrote)

or whether

"I hope you feel better soon" is the right version.

If you can explain why one version is better than the other, that would be great. Since this is a long post, opportunities for mistakes are plenty so feel free to nail me :) Thanks a lot!
