The answer is simple and complicated at the same time.I have never intended to teach,I only wanted to learn English for myself. The problem was that at that time, many years ago, I had plenty of time and some friends asked me to prepare their children with the English I knew then.I did it and it all started smoothly. After a while those children's friends or classmates wanted to meet me,too, and after a year there were about 3 or 4 children or teenagers who came to my place for private classes every day.Teaching them made me study more, and so in June 2006 I even passed the well known CPE .The results were not very bright, but they said I passed it:) .I don't know whether I'll ever use the certificate, but the experience of taking such an exam was worth trying.

Oh, that's a long story, say, you were destined to become a private English teacher. Do you have other dreams besides teaching English? Cool

No,my country is not situated near America! Smile Most of the Romanians would have loved that!
You could find more things about my country here : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Romania .This would answer your questions better than me.The site is written in English,so...it's worth trying. Moreover,my opinion about my country is a very personal one, more or less positive.I'd better keep it for myself...

I'm thirtish, and the greatest of my dreams is to be a good mother for my children.Career comes next.I've always considerred family and children high above any other interests. One who succeeds in 'teaching' one's children could start teach others' .

hi Julia, my stepmother is from Bucareste, Romania, I've seen some pictures and heard some stories about your country, it's really interesting! I've tried to learn your language, but the attempts were unsucessful. All I can remember is capchune (strawberry) and some bad words by father taught me hah.
Welcome!
