Dear Alan,
First, I would like to thank you due to your letter about Hush. It was an outstanding letter that I have never seen. Therefore, I encourage you to continue coming up with those interesting things which can help us to improve our English.

Regarding myself, I am French native speaker, I have never been in an English country. So I need your help to learn as much as possible. I failed to answer as early as possible to your letter because when I received it we were under war between government forces and rebells in our city Ndjamena Capital of Republic of Chad. That is why access to Internet was not possible during the fighting.
finally, I look forward to hearing from you.

My best regards,

Djibia

Hi Djibia,

Many thanks for your email. I really appreciate that you have taken the trouble to reply even though you are having to put up with problems in your country. It is a great encouragement to me to continue sending out my newsletters.

Best wishes

Alan

Dear Alan,
Thank you very much for your kind support. I have improved the knowledge in English language due the document which you provided to me.
As you may be aware, in Myanmar, cost of learning materials are expensive. So, the materials provided to me are very useful and beneficial for me.
Although English is not my mother language, it is a global language. So, I must have to improve my English as much as possible.

It would be highly appreciated if you could kindly continue to provide the materials to me.

With best regards,

Kyaw Lwin Oo (Mr.)

Thanks Torsten,

You are very helpful as usual.

By the way, I might visit Oxford by the end of March and it would be a great pleasure for me to just meet you and Alan and say hello Smile

Great to hear you have found Alan's newsletter, Zahir. As for meeting up in Oxford, that's an interesting idea. What are you going to do there?

Well, I am planning to visit Oxford for a business trip, i.e. I have to meet some people from our head office there.

I previously was in Oxford in 2002 and know the city well. That time I was there to have a two-week English classes at the Swan School of English, which is on 111 Banbery Road. I used to work for a different company at the time.

Fortunately, I still work for an international organization with its head office in Oxford.

I thought that you are based in Oxford, so it would be nice to meet you all there... However, I also understand that you might be very busy not to meet me...

Again, it is not certain yet, but I think there might be a very few reasons that would prevent me from visiting that beautiful city this time again...

Zahir

Hi Zahir,

Thanks a lot for keeping us posted on your travel plans. Let's see how and when we might be able to meet since Alan lives near London and Slava and me are based in Germany.

At any rate we can meet online!

LOL. For some unfathomable reasons I thought your team were based in Oxford. I did not know you are dispersed all over Europe...

Hush hush is usually word that is spoken to animals that pass through on our terrace. Avoiding of something bad let by them, and will make it dirty. But your definition sometimes used as the same as in my country, to make someone close his/her mouth not to speak more, but it's a rude way not polite.I find your definition is so funny.Keep in touch giving any idea to me to practice my experience about English. Thanks a lot.
