Hello everyone
I'm not quite sure about the following sentences and would like to ask if they are correct.

1. Over last 2 years the adrupt increase in the pathology of the ear was detected.
2. While analysing the situation it is necessary to consider it from two apects.

1. Over last 2 years the adrupt increase in the pathology of the ear has been detected.
You need the present perfect, because the time period extends until now.


2. While analysing the situation it is necessary to consider it from two aspects.
Even though your sentence is not wrong, I would like it better if you considered it from "two points of view" or "two angles". (The latter one would be less formal.) But I think "aspects" is also perfectly good here.
