Hi,

It's a slang word for money like 'dosh' and 'dough'.

.
Interestingly, this slang word ('spondulicks') is not used in the US -- even though it was originally an Americanism.

Is this word still actively in use in the UK, Alan?

PS
By the way, the slang words 'dosh' and 'readies' are not in use here either.
