A few days go I ran across this site. The whole idea is an interesting one, but I don't believe that vulgar words are so frequent in English Smile

What do you think about this site: wordcount.org?

A good site, but not too garrulous if you're catching my drift:)
Where's execrate, pilfer, wedgie ....???
And English contains lots of obscene words, in fact I believe English has the biggest vocabulary.

Trust me, the Bulgarian language is far more "colorful", as I have grasp of both languages.

That's true for you as a native speaker of Bulgarian (I suppose), because you don't put much sense into English verbal abuses. Actually, the more I listen to English speakers the more I become amazed at the colourfullness and versatility of English virulent abuse expressions Smile
(Dont run away with the idea that the English abusive words trail ends at the f, c, b words, it is much bigger)

Ok, I agree that there are many, many obscene words in English (the same is more or less true in any language), but I doubt that the first 10 words in terms of frequency are:
[b]sex, libertarian, the, love, sh*t, fu*k, god, I, cu*t, a[b]

How possibly can word sex, libertarian, or cu*t stand before the, or a?

I simply don't believe that they sorted it out correctly.

So you big waffler reckon you can make us dig the bollocks your blubber-lipped gob makes us want to buy into? Wack some tint into your wacky cheeks and cop on!

(author's note: remark was merely meant as an illustrative example and by no means personal)

Only a clueless numbskull would swallow a cockamamy canard like that. I think you can take your pea-brained savvy of English lingo and stick it where the sun don't shine, you knucklehead.

I've heard quite a few non-native English speakers (particularly East Europeans, for some reason) claim that English is limited in its expressive capabilities, but those people are never as intimately familiar with the English language as they imagine they are. Basically, no language beats English and Russian for breadth of vocabulary.
