Could you help me with the following sentences? Are they correct?

1.Satisfied with his answer,the old lady decided to buy some gifts for the boy.

2.Being satisfied with his answer,the old lady decided to buy some gifts for the boy.

3.Interested in the Kooris for years, I decided to learn their language.

4.Being interested in the Kooris for years, I decided to learn their language.

Yes, they are OK, but the use of 'being' here is rather awkward in style.
