How can you say this? (to prepare to go to school)

Hi, can you tell me how I can say this.

I want to say that if I do everything more quickly, I can sleep more:

I usually wake up at 6:50. It usually takes me about twenty minutes to prepare to go to school. I have to leave at 7:15. If I do everything more quicky and get ready in ten minutes, I can wake up at 7:05 and have more ten minutes to sleep.

1) I wonder if "prepare to go to school" is correct and idiomatic? I mean getting up, washing, getting dressed, preparing books ...

2) How about "have more ten minutes to sleep"? I don't think it's true :D
How will you say this? Is "another ten minutes" or "ten minutes more" OK?

I would say: Get ready for school''Get ready to go to school'

'Have another ten minutes in bed/lie in for another ten minutes'.

2) Can you rewrite this sentence: "The second day of Lunar New Year has just passed."

---> The Lunar New Year has just passed for two days.

Is that correct? How will you rewrite the sentence?

Hi,

'Ten more minutes' is all right. I would suggest 'The Lunar New Year has just passed, two days ago'.
