Pam as a baking ingredient? Fri Feb 15, 2008 22:00 pm  Pam as a baking ingredient?

Please take a look at the following paragraph and tell me what "Pam" is:

Paul is the one who arrives at our father's house on Thanksgiving day, offering to prepare traditional Greek dishes to the best of his ability. It is a fact he once made a tray of spanakopita using Pam rather than melted butter. Still, though, at least he tries.

Thanks,
Torsten

Pam is a non-stick cooking spray. It helps keep food from sticking to pots and pans.

Pam is actually available in Germany, Torsten. But I assume it's probably still not widely available.

Hi Tom and Amy,

Thanks a lot for shedding some light on the Pam issue. Maybe I should try it out myself to get an even better idea of its usefulness....
