I took the GRE Practice Test and my score was awful!

I am about to go CRAZY...I have been out of school for over 9 years...I am now going back to get my MS in Criminal Justice. PLEASE HELP...I took the GRE Practice Test and my score was awful ; especially on the Voc...I really need HELP. Could someone tell me how does one study for this test?

I really need help with Voc words...how can I get my hands on words most commonly used on the GRE?

Don't worry about it too much...same thing happened to me. You just need to get more familiar with the test. Did you do any prep at all before the practice test?

I would strongly suggest going over a book called Cracking the GRE. It has the best overall review of the test. Really, really good. I liked the practice tests too. Then download the free tests from the official site (they're called Powerprep).

For vocab, get Word Smart for the GRE.
