get a cold OR get cold #1 (permalink) Sun Feb 17, 2008 16:23 pm   get a cold OR get cold

Hello,

Could you please help me with which is correct?

I got a cold. / I got cold.
I have a cold. / I have cold.

I got a headache. / I got headache.
I have a headache. / I have headache.

I got a toothache. / I got tootahce.
I have a toothache. / I have toothache.

I got a stomachache. / I got stomachache.
I have a stomachache. / I have stomachache.

Sorry, for the several sentences, but I'm confused. I've seen nearly all versions in my life and I'd like to clear them at last.

Thanks.
Liza
