Hey guys i am preparing for the TOEFL right now with some English courses especially for it and i am wondering how much does it take to prepare for it as a foreigner ?I started watching this forum like a week ago and see some guys saying they were ready to do it in 2-3 weeks(??).My sister already graduated in the US and she told me to wait to the end of the year and then do it.
I am learning English for like 6 years(only on courses tho) and i spent some time in the US(around 3 weeks).I am aiming for a really high score(100+ is a must) so I can get into a very good college in the states.Personally I don't have problems with the reading and speaking section, although my native language is not English I can speak good enough.I am more worried about the so - called "Integrated essay", can someone give me a hint about it too, I mean is it really THAT hard or is it just me :< ?

thanks for the info,
Nothi

Your English seems pretty good so I wouldn't worry if I were you. Frankly, if you're fluent and most of all coherent, definitely worry not (!!) about the writing section; to my mind, it's one of the easiest parts. However, when it comes to preparing for the test, the "period" is different for every individual. I, for example, have taken the CAE some years ago and found it to be much more difficult than the TOEFL. Anyway, take your time, finish the course and then take the test. So all in all, it's just you ! Chin up!

Cheers
