Hi,

Could you tell me if the sentences below are correct and natural:

1. To put the meeting off is not fitting at the moment. It should be held.
2. He used to talk to his boss in a reserved manner.

1. To put the meeting off is not fitting at the moment. It should be held.
This one is not wrong, but instead of "fitting", we would probably use "appropriate". "Not fitting" usually has more the tone of a moral judgment, rather than one of administrative correctness.

2. He used to talk to his boss in a reserved manner.
This one's fine.
