Is "tailender" the right word? #1 (permalink) Thu Feb 28, 2008 9:10 am   Is "tailender" the right word?

I remember I ran across the word "tailender" referring to a player in the last place in a tournament. However, I cannot find that word in any dictionary now. I started to suspect that such a word does not exist at all... Can you help, please?

You can find it using onelook.com

However, I don't think the word is used terribly often.
