How do you save and retrieve your personal information? #1 (permalink) Wed Mar 05, 2008 14:35 pm   How do you save and retrieve your personal information?

Hi,

How do you store, organize and access such personal details like mobile phone PIN's, email account log on information, bank details, etc.?

As for me, I keep a lot this type of information online. Many people will say that is risky as somebody might be able to retrieve the data. But then again, I change my passwords frequently and based on my experience the advantages of this approach clearly outweigh the drawbacks.

What is your take on this?

I try to memorize such data. Also, when it comes to choosing a password (for e-mails, forums, even the OS on my laptop) I prefer to compose a password of some English word I want to remember and a combination of digits. This way I can kill 2 birds with one stone

Memorizing is the way I go. My passwords are simple, yet unimaginable for those who would try to break it, for I think up inexisting words, known only to me. As for bank accounts - I'm too low an age for such things.
