couldn't get into contact with my old friend Wed Mar 05, 2008 17:04 pm  couldn't get into contact with my old friend

I paid a visit to my old friend since childhood this morning, but onbody responded to the doorbell when I rang it.
So, I turned to her neighbours politely starting with a question like this:
"Do you know where she has been"?

But he seemed not quite understand what I meant exactly.
So I tried it another way:
"Do you know where she has moved to?"
Again, he was thinking for a while before he responded "No".

Are there any mistakes in the two questions I asked? Crying or Very sad

Could someone kindly help please?

Do you know where she has gone? -- This may ask where she has moved, or it may ask where she is at the moment.

Do you know where she has moved to? -- This asks where she has moved.
