Hi Melissa,

Thanks a lot for your great feedback -- it's exciting to see how fast you have read Alan's latest essay. What I find most interesting about it is the fact there was a time when English was a very unpopular language spoken by people of lower ranks. Now the situation has changed completely and so many people around the world are learning English to improve their standard of living and become happier citizens Wink.

Hi,
I have read your essay and I liked it immensely. The use of words was perfect. The term Magpie was used very absorbingly. I would also like to mention that there was much more in mind to express but the way in which the words and phrases were used the text covered it completely. At times when you write it is a satisfying experience. After reading your eassy I would like to tell you that it was definitely a satisfying experience with a good and great use of historical background in the past.

Finally, it was rocking. Great Work

Dear Alan,

The essay was really good. You have done a really nice summary of the way English language has run though history and changes encountered nowadays. It brought back to me the time when I studied The history of England and that of English language at the University.

I enjoyed it.

As for the surfer i have access in both Google and Firefox.

Best regards,

Dear Torsten,

Thank you for your support on posting and giving to me the chance for the feedback.

I liked the essay “English goes to America” and I have read it with curiosity. There were a lot of interesting facts of the English language development and the history. It is important to know the history of the languages.

Unfortunately, I do not know and hadn’t have a chance to get somewhere any material of my native language; Albanian language history in details.

My English is not the best; I’m trying to learn it as much I can. Therefore, reading your essays is a good chance for me to improve my language skills.

And, I’m always looking forward reading the new topics on the Internet.

Warm regards,
