Hi,

What does 'mass-market' mean in the context below?

They write a mass-market proposal for new products together.

Thanks a lot.

What is 'mass-market'? Sat Mar 08, 2008 9:08 am  What is 'mass-market'?

Hi Nobody, Smile

Here is the definition of "mass-market" in OALD:

mass-market
adjective
[only before noun] (of goods etc.) produced for very large numbers of people

=> However, I wonder why they write "large numbers of people" and not "large number of people". I think the phrase "a large number of people" is a fixed phrase...
