difference between "did" or "were" #1 (permalink) Fri Mar 07, 2008 14:13 pm   difference between "did" or "were"

Hi,

which one is correct " when did you born?"
or

"when were you born?"

Could you tell me when we have to use "did" and "were" in question framing?

Regards

When were you born is correct because this is a passive construction (to be born).
