Referring to the word "worthy" I found one meaning in the dictionary which I don't get.
Used as a noun: word is often used humorously.

Could you convey this in a more understandable way?

This adjective/noun can be used to describe someone who can be trusted and is totally reliable. It is often used about someone who could possibly be laughed at in a kind way because they are so trustworthy.
