Can i write like this " Have you chosen anything else in the list"

or

" Have you chosen anything in the list".

what is the difference in meaning in the above sentences with "else" or withou "else"?

Have you chosen anything else from the list?
In this case you know that the person has already chosen something and now you want to know if the person has chosen something in addition.

Have you chosen anything from the list?
In this case you don't know whether or not the person has chosen something.
