What's the difference between "ballot" and "vote"? I've looked at a few definitions and they seem pretty much the same to me. Thank you.

Hi Monica,

'Vote' is the actual record of your view on/support for something/someone. 'Ballot' is the procedure by which you can carry out this means of recording your vote.
