Hello Dear Alan and Torsten!

Help me, please: "he was standing next to me" means "he was standing in front of me"? Is it so?

Thank you

Next to me/in front of me/near me Sat Feb 14, 2004 21:09 pm  Next to me/in front of me/near me

'He was standing next to me' doesn't necessarily mean that the person was standing in front of you. They could have been standing to your left or right hand side. At any rate they were standing near you.
