A engineer always has many assignments of 'test' while running a 'project', in below:

which saying is better ? What's the difference ?
1) 'Doing' a test
2) 'Running' a test
3) 'Performing' a test
4) 'Implementing' a test
======================================
which saying is better ? What's the difference ?
1) 'Doing' a project
2) 'Running' a project
3) 'Performing' a project
4) 'Implementing' a project
======================================

These are the usual collocations, Lee:

2) 'Running' a test
4) 'Implementing' a project

I suppose you will find instances of most of your other combinations, too.
