Hello,

I'm not sure how to use the after commit to or commited to. For example,

We are committed to taking a good care of him

We are committed to take a good care of him

Is the verb "committed to" or "to take"? Please explain the rules. Thanks

The sentence should read "We are committed to taking good care of him" (instead of 'taking a good care'). "Taking care" is a noun here and the verb is "are".

Yes, you can say 'please take good care of him' and then the verb 'take' is used in its imperative form.
