Hi,
I would use the words 'plug socket' in place of 'outlet' 'wall plug'. Perhaps also 'remove' in place of 'pull out'.

Dear Alan:
As your suggestion, should it be 'Remove AC adapter from a plug socket' ? |

Hi lee12jan
The word 'outlet' would be more common than 'socket' in American English.
If each of your sentences is intended to be a step in a set of instructions, this is what I would suggest:
- Plug the AC adapter into an electrical outlet.
- Remove the AC adapter from the electrical outlet. . _________________ "Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power." ~ Abraham Lincoln |
