I think you asked this before Tom, if I am not mistaken.

Sure. How about this?

"These head hunters go in search of human parts-head, breast, tongue, sexual organs-at the behest of witchdoctors, juju priests, and traditional medicine men who require them for some sacrifices or for the preparation of assorted magical potions."

One of the oddest beliefs hanging around fora/forums is the belief that Standard English is the one true English. Some people'll believe anything, yeah?

There are a lot of mistaken beliefs about economics, and these can affect the outcome of elections, and people's material well-being.

One is that the government of a state or country gets more revenue if it raises taxes. Usually higher taxes result in less government revenue.

Another involves the use of the expression "the gap between rich and poor". People think that if this gap is growing, then the poor must be suffering more. However, in the US over the past 20 years, the income gap between the rich and the poor has been growing, but the poor have not been suffering more. The reason is that the poor have been getting richer, but the rich have been getting richer faster. The result has been a larger income gap, but a higher standard of living for almost everybody. However, in this election season, many politicians are emphasizing the gap, and not the improved living standard.

Some people think that all debt is bad, but in fact, some debt is good. Last week I talked to an independent businessman whose girlfriend was angry at him for buying a $30,000 construction utility vehicle on borrowed money. He had a hard time explaining to her that having that vehicle increased his business income by far more than the cost of the payments and interest.
