Hello,
rag/C,U / = odd (scrap of) cloth, usu torn, frayed etc
rags (pl)=old,worn or torn clothes
rag (C)=(inf) newspaper or journal

rage(C,U)= violent anger; U: trembling with rage; C:fly into a rage

lose one's rag:=express one's anger, impatience in an uncontrolled way./Alan/

Don't lose your rag so easily.
