Expression: "You are not as ill as quiet."

Could you please tell me if you find the following sentence correct and natural? If no, please correct it.

The speaker feels that his wife is more quiet that she is ill.

Not good. The concept itself is not logical. "You're not ill; you're just quiet" is not an observation I can conceive, anyway.

Talking of illness+conversation and my personal experience, I'd say that I don't feel like speaking much when I am suffering from fever, fatigue or low blood pressure. But once it did happen that a friend of mine who I was very upset with visited me while I was running a high temperature. I sat with him, but didn't say much. In fact, I was too upset with him to speak to.

That was the first time he said something like that to me.
