Can some one please tell me how often is the word 'coy' used in spoken English?

For example, can I say, "She is acting a little coy today"

Hi daemon

I'm not sure how you expect us to quantify the usage of 'coy'. However, I can tell you that the word is used in both spoken and written English. I don't consider it to be an uncommon word, however I doubt that it would appear in a list of the 1000 most commonly used words in English.

How's that? Cool

That's good enough. Thanks Yankee.

I asked this question because that word (in my language) is used very often but I haven't come across it much in any of the English books/movies Confused
