Hi!
Please have a look at this sentence:
These rivers ...... water from farming.
A- provide B-supply
C-equip D-offer
Which is correct?
And can you tell me what is the difference between 'to provide something for somebody' and 'to supply something to somebody' ?
Sometimes I see people write 'to supply/provide somebody with something'. So is that correct?
Thanks in advance.
Rebecca

I think if you change 'from' to 'for' you can use 'supply'.

Provide would mean give it to someone, supply may refer to them getting it for by through another method

although you can use either, it doesnt make that much difference
