Is there any difference between 'case example' and 'example case' other than the word order?

In examples such as this, I'd say they are interchangeable:

The former can sometimes mean "an/one example from a case", and the latter "an example using the whole case" - the former being partial and the latter total. Other times, they seem interchangeable.
