Can someone explain it to me the usage of the word though.
I've checked in vocabulary the meaning of it, but I don't understand why does it come at the end of sentence, and its usage at all?

An example from one game..
"He swears a lot. I understand why, though."

Hi Dama,

Your sentences basically mean this: He swears a lot which is not good. But I understand his reasons for swearing that much.

Hi,

Just another comment - 'though' also has the sense of 'however. It's almost a circular meaning back to the first part of the sentence as in your sentence: I understand why, though = though I understand why.

Thanks guys. Alan, when you said that though is something like however that clear some things up. But, in vocabulary words although and though have the same meaning. When to use although then?

Is this correct? Is this the usage of although?
"Although it's not my car, I drive it."
