Hi Torsten

The screenshot that you posted is not what you see in a forum thread.

When you open a thread, it is not possible to click on a username in order get to the screen (a user's profile) that you posted above. Currently, there is no active link above a user's avatar in a thread window. And clicking on an avatar in a thread does not link to any user's profile as far as I can tell. As far as I can tell, only the people you've interviewed have links integrated into their avatar in a forum thread -- but that link is not to a profile page.

I have discovered that clicking on a username BEFORE you open a thread will link you to the user's profile. That link does still work.

As I suggested above, perhaps the "elite" of this forum are not experiencing the same things as the "non-elite" are. Perhaps everything is working for you just as you say, but NOT everything is working that way for the vast majority of forum members.

Hot dang! They sure did! Usernames in this thread are now blue and underlined and functional as a link!
Slava must be slaving away fixing the bugs. Maybe he'll be able to get the buttons and signatures to re-appear, too.

By the way, Alex, you've got an unusual interest listed in your profile. Laughing

PS
I just realized that the advertisement is back.

Hey! Alex, you're right! And the quote button isn't invisible anymore either. Even your signature is back! Holy mackerel!

Slava has done a fine job of annihilating those bugs.

Change happens. I'm going to wait a little longer to see how I really feel about it.

Oh Amy, this new layout definitely makes your cat's glance thru the corner of the eye sexier, like she was flirting. Cute!

How ever did you make her pose that way? My cats looked whether they were sleepy or just bored when we took their pictures.

Hi Nina

I snapped that picture when he was sitting on my keyboard (he sat there extremely often) and that particular facial expression meant this:
"We are excruciatingly bored and, even though we have no idea what will entertain us, and even though probably nothing will entertain us, we've been waiting for you to attempt to entertain us far longer than we should ever have to put up with. We are not amused."

(Note the use of the feline version of the 'royal we'.) Laughing Wink

Oops, sorry. Well, he's very pretty then. And you know what, we used to allow cats to roam freely in the house and there was this one, we call him Beggin'(pronounced bay-geen, because he was always begging, quite a weird character for a cat I must say) and he also liked to sit on the piano. I think Amy, they just like being tall... Very Happy

And I really get the 'royal we', because I have so many cats at home, and though not really crazy about them, I am surrounded by cat lovers (one of my sister believes she was once a cat in previous life). Each of them has different personalities but they share one attitude in common, "I don't come to you, you come to me." (Except for Beggin', he's the weird one Confused )

Whoever said that cats don't have any personalities must be crazy or they just don't know them. Laughing

Hi Nina

You've got that right! Any cat we've ever had has had its own unique personality. That goes for the dogs we've had, too. But cats do seem to share one characteristic -- they all seem convinced that they're royal. Laughing

Yes, they sure do. In fact most of our cats are named after their personalities, or weird habits. They even have a surname, it's 'Edgar Bun'. I don't know about how they got it, just one of my sisters crazy ideas. I don't know how it works because obviously some are from different families. They can't help it, they are just crazy about cats.

And you are also right about them thinking like they are the Queen of England. Next time I'm home I'm going to suggest they grant knighthood/royalty to our cats. Call them 'Lord Edgar' or something. Laughing

Hi, Amy

What a sentence! Almost 4 verbs "have" are congregated in a head-to-tail manner !
What if we change it to this: She said that any can she had had had had its own unique personality, will it work? Smile
