Hello everyone

I'd to ask if the following sentence is correct. The part I'm not sure of is "to get respondents participating in the study interested."

The trusting contact which was established between YYY coaches and many XXX employees during the previous cooperation at Soft Skills trainings made it possible to get respondents participating in the study interested and to obtain relevant information from them.

The intended meaning of "to get respondents participating in the study interested " is that they (respondents) became interested thanks to the trusting contact.

'Trusting contact' sounds odd to me. Your 'interested' is to far from your 'get' for comfort. Try this:

The trust established between YYY coaches and many XXX employees during their previous association at Soft Skills training made it possible to interest respondents participating in the study and to obtain relevant information from them.
