Hi Nessie
If we use the phrase 'live show', the word live would be used specifically to indicate that the show is being performed and broadcast at the same time (i.e. the show is being broadcast now and it was not recorded prior to the broadcast).
However, I'd say it would be more typical to say something such as "The show is live". . _________________ "Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power." ~ Abraham Lincoln |

Hi Nessie,
A common expression here when a show/programme is being broadcast is: This show is coming to you live. News programmes on TV sometimes have the word 'live' written on the screen to indicate that the report is actual. Another use for 'live' often refers to an audience actually being present often when a comedy show is being shown. You would hear: This show/concert was recorded before a live audience rather than simply being recorded in a studio without audience.

Thanks a lot, Amy and Alan :)
I know the definition of the term, but I just wonder if the word really exist in standard English. For example can we say:
Her liveshow will go on as planned next week The singer is busy preparing for his first liveshow in public
Thanks a lot Nessie _________________ :(... something we never have again, I know... I guess I really really know.. :(

Hi,
It would be written/spoken as two separate words: live show.
