I understand that these two terms are connected to each other: 'customer retention' and 'customer relations'. Can 'customer retention' be an element of 'customer relations'? In other words, is the 'customer relations' a more general term than 'customer retention'?

Many thanks,
Torsten

Hi Torsten,

They are related to one another in the sense that if 'your customer relations' is effective and they like you, it follows that they will be retained/kept as loyal customers (customer retention).
