Difference between internal and domestic market #2 (permalink) Tue Feb 15, 2005 16:29 pm   Difference between internal and domestic market

Dear Elizabeth,

An internal market operates only inside an organisation or set of organisations.
What you have in mind is probably the domestic or local market.

Is there any word as an "external market"?

What does it mean and how can it be used in a sentence. Please clarify with an example.

Thank you.

The external market is a term used by investors. It refers to the international market of securities (stocks or bonds) that are issued outside of any single country. The external market sometimes is also called the Euromarket.
