Hi, I know state verbs cannot be used with continuous tenses, but I remember hearing from someone that they can still be used with such tenses in case of emphasis
For example:
Sorry I can't talk with you. I am having to help the customers
=> Is that idea right or wrong? and if it is right, what does the speaker emphasize in this sentence when using present continuous:
Is your grandmother feeling better now?

I think 'feel' is not a stative verb so the question "Is your grandmother feeling better now"? is perfectly OK. As for "I'm having to help the customers" I think that's a very unusual construction.
