Here are some more examples:
I am having/getting my house painted next week. (a future plan)
I have had my house painted many times, but the last company I used did a very sloppy job. (present perfect)
I had already had my house painted by Company A when Company B offered to do it for half the price. (past perfect)
I had/got my house painted last week. (a past activity)
You should have/get your house painted. (i.e. You should make arrangements for somebody to paint your house.)
In the sentences above, 'get' sounds more informal than 'have'. . _________________ "Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power." ~ Abraham Lincoln |

| Yeah, and don't forget to capitalize the pronoun "I", and to substitute "you" for "u" ;) |
