scholarship, bursary, grant - what's the difference? #1 (permalink) Sat Apr 19, 2008 5:44 am   scholarship, bursary, grant - what's the difference?

Hi all,
I've been browsing the net trying to help a student of mine choose a school in the UK. Most of the schools she had in mind offer 'scholarships', 'bursaries' and 'grants'. I have been unable to explain the difference to her since the word used in Romanian (my language) is the same for all three. Can you help?
