Can somebody please help me with these questions?

Say there's a spider on my friend's hand and I want to tell him to move his hand rapidly so that the spider falls off his hand. I could think of one way of saying it

Shake it off

Are there any other ways?

What's moving your hand (or anything) rapidly called? Are the following sentences OK?

1) Shake your hand
2) Jerk your hand
