| I took a course that had tutors that corrected my essay and gave me feedback. I actually got a tutor from Stanford. Anyways, it was a great experience, check it out at prepme.com. |

Hi Kristen!
My SAT sites have great video lessons on SAT reading comprehension. Here they are: http://www.mysterytutor.com/search/label/SAT%20critical%20reading
The key thing is to remember that you shouldn't try to infer anything; all answers are stated directly in the passage.
Good luck! |

| You could try using Verbalearn.com. It is a free vocabulary builder for the SAT. I recommend it to my students who are having trouble with the verbal section because they can do through the material at their own pace and it is customized to each individual. They also seem to really like the ability to put the words, definitions, and examples on their mp3 player. Here's the link if you are interested www.verbalearn.com |

| Online Test practice papers are very helpful. Check the sites like www.princetonreview.com for SAT practice sets and tutoring. www.number2.com provides free SAT practice sets. You can also use online test preparation of www.eduxcel.com, its a little bit costly but very effective. Barron's test sets are a very good resource for SAT practice and also cost effective. |
