Only 'd' is correct because a map can be needed by visitors for a purpose. (needed by a person for a purpose)

I don't like the entire sentence because it's in the passive voice.

But anyway, could you please tell me if it is odd to say "new visits"?

I agree: new visits. 1) needed for something 2) visits to. _________________ I am an incurable optimist. |

. I agree with Torsten. The sentence is not particularly not well-conceived. Both A and D sound odd. But at least we can rule out both B and C. . _________________ "Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power." ~ Abraham Lincoln |
