Hi Tilt,

As you know prepositions can be used in a multitude of instances. Think of any Russian preposition, would you be able to explain 'when to use it'? If you look the word 'of' up in a dictionary you will find a great number of examples showing how and when to use it. In addition, you should pay close attention to this preposition when you listen something in English or read English texts.
