million dollars' worth

Hi,

I read the following first sentence in a book. I don’t understand ‘million dollars’ worth of business’. Therefore, I created the second sentence. Do they have the same meaning?

1. ‘I do several million dollars’ worth of business with this lender each year’

2. ‘I do business worth several million dollars with this lender each year’

By the way, could anybody please tell me if it is ok to use "according to me"? (I've found only 6 results for it on the BNC)
