If you were an employer, which kind of worker would you prefer to hire: an inexperienced worker at a lower salary or an experienced worker at a higher salary? Use specific reasons and details to support your answer.

Employees are a crucial labor force at workplace. Thus, which kind of staff to hire is a prickly puzzle baffling numerous managers. A number of opinions claim employing inexperienced workers at a modest wage may save a huge amount of money for firms. Nevertheless, from the point of view of an employer, I am personally convinced that staffing a company with seasoned personnel delivers far more significant benefits.

The very first reason for my favor of hiring experienced workers is the cost-efficiency of this human resources policy. An amateur workforce may appear to alleviate financial burden for a company due to low cost of labor. However, the employment of veteran staff is actually able to save a far wider range of costs. The reality indicates that companies are almost always forced to expend plenty of time, money and efforts to provide professional training to inexperienced workers so that these people could assume certain positions. As for experienced staff, these expenditures prove to be unnecessary. Thus, hiring skilled employees turns out to trim considerable costs for companies.

Another boon of employing people with professional experience is the improved efficiency of corporate performance. Employees who lack working experience are more than likely to make a multitude of mistakes upon carrying out assigned tasks. This practice undoubtedly harms companies’ performance. Conversely, veteran workers are capable of conducting almost all responsibilities smoothly with high efficiency. Therefore, recruiting these laborers, a firm would certainly find corporate earnings boosted remarkably. As a matter of fact, the use of high-quality staff is able to bring long-term profits to corporations.

In conclusion, not only does hiring experienced workers cut notable costs for companies, this practice also offers employers substantial returns in the long-run. Hence, almost all businesses are strongly recommended to adopt this human resources policy.
